We are seeking a Facility Maintenance and Security Technician for our client, located in the Fitchburg area!

Overview:
This role supports and maintains video management, security systems, fire alarm panels, and general facilities across multiple locations. Responsibilities include equipment installation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and collaboration with IT for system integration. The technician prioritizes tasks based on urgency and ensures a safe, secure environment for staff and visitors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and support NVR, access control, video, and fire alarm systems
- Install and service security and banking equipment (vaults, drawers, keyways, etc.)
- Perform general maintenance including minor carpentry, electrical, and plumbing
- Respond to facility-related issues and prioritize resolutions
- Implement and uphold security protocols for restricted areas
- Conduct regular inspections of systems and safety measures
- Run wiring and cabling; assist IT with system integration
- Perform general repairs (e.g., drywall, painting, door fixes)
Qualifications:
- 2–3 years of related experience
- Proficient in access control and security systems
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Mechanical aptitude and experience with hand/power tools
- Knowledge of banking security equipment (safes, deposit boxes) a plus
