Sexual Harassment & Abusive Conduct How to Prevent it
Express Employment Professionals provides training to California franchisee locations and their clients on California’s required AB1825; that is in compliance with California law. The presentation is provided to meet the California 2 hour inter-active course for Sexual Harassment Prevention Training.
The sexual harassment prevention according to California is designed to:
- define the evolution of sexual harassment in California from a historical view point
- define sexual harassment both federally and distinctly to California laws and differences; including threshold differences as well as educational requirements
- defines and identifies the Department of Fair Employment and Housing as well as the EEOC
- defines sexual harassment as defined by the Department of Fair Employment and Housing; as well as the federal definition and points out the differences
- defines the different types of sexual harassment; including the civil liability for “agents” of the company
- provides education on the importance of having a policy and policy enforcement as well as education of all employees
- provides an inter-active exchange for all parties on real-life examples of sexual harassment and how correct actions as well as reporting processes
- identifies how to conduct an investigation and the importance of the investigation
- identifies and explain real California court cases and what went wrong and how they could have been prevented
- concludes with an inter-active knowledge based exam to ensure proper understanding of California specific laws as it pertains to sexual harassment prevention
