Where did you grow up?
I was born and raised right here, in beautiful Santa Cruz. As a teenager I loved spending my time with friends on the Pacific Garden Mall. Café Pergolesi, Logos, visiting antique and thrift store, and attending endless shows at the Catalyst, Redroom and Santa Cruz Civic.
How did you find your way to the staffing industry?
I was fortunate and had family who owned and operated multiple Express Employment Professionals offices in California. I grew up surrounded by conversations about companies that were hiring, which recruiting methods worked, which qualities made job seekers highly desirable, as well as the operational human resources and payroll issues that arise in business. Naturally, I was put at the front desk of Express when I became old enough to work. I took breaks to attend college, and gain experience with other companies, but my passion for Express, and helping others to succeed, brought me back and keeps me excited about staffing.
What makes you unique in your profession?
30+ years of experience within the staffing industry, and specifically within Santa Cruz County, is one of the things that sets me apart. I'm also highly creative, intuitive, I have high energy, strong communication skills, and a wicked sense of humor. ����
