Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl Challenge

, was able to attend the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl Challenge on May 2nd.
A news release from the Peach Bowl stated that, "Former college football coaches Mack Brown and Jim Grobe paired up to win the inaugural Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl Challenge. This year's Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl Challenge charity golf tournament featured its first-ever Legends division, consisting of 10 former coaches who competed for a share of a $50,000 purse to be split among their selected charities. The Legends Competition was hosted at the Reynolds Lake Oconee.
In total, the 10 coaches in the competition boast an impressive resume of 1,565 all-time wins, three FBS national championships, 34 conference championships and 62 coach of the year awards.
Over the past 11 years, the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl Challenge has provided a total of $6.8 million in scholarship and charity. Proceeds from the event benefit endowed scholarships at the participating universities and charitable foundations selected by the coaches, benefitting a wide range of organizations throughout the nation.
The Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl Challenge is a significant contributor to the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl's overall charitable and scholarship donations, which total $30.3 million since 2002, making the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl college football's most charitable bowl game."
