Rodney and his wife had a special opportunity to visit the wonders of the State of Alaska last week. This is a beautiful state with the snow covered mountains, glaciers, majestic lakes, wildlife, and some of the best fishing in the world. Pictured from 45 miles away, is the Denali Mountain ( formerly known as Mt. McKinley ) is the highest mountain in North America ( 20,310 feet) high. It is truly an awesome site.
In addition, Rodney had the unique opportunity to meet and hear Jimmie Hendricks discuss his detail account of climbing Denali in the early 80's. Jimmie is originally from Atlanta and attended UGA. After training for many months he was successful in reaching the top of Denali. Jimmie continues to live in Alaska and operates a very successful organic garden business."
