    Tom Wirts - Owner & General Manager

    Tom Wirts owns the Express Employment office in Charleston. His goal was, and continues to be, to create the best staffing service in West Virginia. Tom graduated from the University of Dayton with a Bachelor’s degree in Management and then continued his education at The Fisher College of Business at The Ohio State University where he earned an MBA in Human Resources and Consulting. He is certified as a Certified Temporary Staffing Specialist (CTS), a Certified Staffing Professional (CSP), and a Professional in Human Resources (PHR). Tom is also the founding President of the WV Chapter of the American Staffing Association. Tom supports the local community in a variety of ways. He has recently served on the Board of Directors for both the South Charleston Chamber of Commerce and the local affiliate of Habitat for Humanity. For the past several years, the Express office has sponsored South Charleston Community Day at the Power Park, Business after Hours through the South Charleston Chamber, and a leadership seminar for business leaders throughout the Charleston area. Express also participates in food drives for Union Mission and continually raises funds for Children’s Miracle Network. Tom’s Express office has been honored as a Circle of Excellence office for the last ten years, including achieving Bronze, Silver, and Gold levels and has twice been selected for the ‘Board of Directors’ award. Tom believes the office’s success is attributable to the Team that works in his office. Combined, they have over 130 years of experience putting people to work. Since opening in 1999, Express has placed over 10,000 people in jobs. “I enjoy working in my hometown of Charleston – it has been a privilege to be part of an organization that helps good people find jobs, as well as helps good companies find qualified employees.”
