  • City of Irvine is Reopening

    Orange County, California - May 13, 2020

    On Tuesday May 12th, The City of Irvine approved a 4 phase reopening plan that approved the following:

    May 15 - Tennis and Pickleball courts are to reopen for singles play and one-on-one City-led lessons with safety restrictions

    May 26 - Free drive through antigen testing for Irvine residents at The Great Park. Antibody testing is also available for $10 per person. Asymptomatic Irvine residents are welcome to take the test.

    July 12 - Sizzlin' Summer Concert Series to begin at The Great Park. Concert goers can enjoy live music and gourmet food trucks drive-in style. Social distancing will be observed.

    August 1 - Drive-In Movies on the Lawn at The Great Park begins.

    The City of Irvine will continue to work on restructuring the June Summer Programs and All-Day Summer Camps to meet the current challenges. Irvine Ranch Conservancy and Irvine Open Space Preserve will be open with safety restrictions. Finally, restaurants will be allowed to expand outdoor seating areas into patios, common areas, parking areas for additional outdoor seating.
