Jim, along with his wife, Jolynn, are currently in their 29th year as Express Employment Professional’s franchise owners/operators.   

Jim and Jolynn employ 20 Eagan and Edina-based staff members who perform contract consulting and professional search services in the disciplines of: 

• Office/Administrative 
• Accounting/Finance 
• Engineering/Manufacturing/Skilled Trades/Light Industrial 
• Sales/Marketing 
• Banking/Mortgage 
• Human Resources 

During Jim’s tenure with Express, he has been recognized by The Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal as one of their “40 under 40” recipients, as well as their #1 “Fastest Growing Private Companies” and recognized by Minnesota Business Magazine as one of “200 Minnesotans You Should Know”. 

Besides being busy running his own firm, Jim is a founding shareholder and serves on the Board of Directors and Audit Committee for Bridgewater Bank (Nasdaq “BWB”).  Jim also has chaired and served on the Board of Directors of the Minnesota Recruiting and Staffing Association (MNRSA), chaired and served on the Board of Directors for the Bloomington (now Minneapolis) Chamber of Commerce, as well as served on the Board of Directors for Gillette Children’s Specialty Healthcare Foundation Board and was their designated representative to serve the full Board of Directors for Gillette. 

Jim has a BS/BA (Double Major) from Iowa State University in Ag Business and Economics.
