Amy Speaker Velez, Express Employment Professionals Gonzales, LA, franchise owner
Amy opened the Express Employment Professionals office for Gonzales in January of 2014. Since then she has been recognized as one of the most driven new owners in the Express family, as the office has grown by leaps and bounds. Her vision is to help clients find good people and human resource services they need, while helping people in the River Parishes find good jobs with reputable employers.
Amy studied liberal arts at Centre College in Danville, KY, where she received her bachelors degree in English. Before joining the Express family, Amy worked in sales and sales management for over 20 years, primarily in the insurance and insurance service industries, and oil, gas and petrochemical industries.
When she's not working to connect our clients with our extraordinary associates, Amy enjoys spending time with her husband Don, her son Austin, her parents, and last but certainly not least, her three grandchildren. She is also active in a Mardi Gras krewe and other social organizations, and she enjoys cooking and traveling.
