Employment Specialist/Recruiting Coordinator
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:45 AM–5:00 PM
Wage: $18–$21/hr + Commission

Position Summary
Express Employment Professionals is seeking a motivated, results-oriented Employment Specialist to join our team in Mesa. This is a fast-paced, people-focused role ideal for a driven self-starter who enjoys helping others succeed and likes a challenge. You'll connect qualified job seekers with local employers, guide candidates through the hiring process, and ensure successful placements—primarily within skilled trades and light industrial work settings.
Key Responsibilities
- Match qualified candidates to appropriate job openings
- Partner with local employers to understand their hiring needs
- Source, screen, interview, and evaluate job seekers
- Maintain strong, consistent follow-up and communication with candidates and clients by phone and email
- Assist candidates with resume updates and interview preparation
- Administer skill assessments and recommend training when needed
- Monitor job placements and support long-term retention
- Maintain accurate records and manage candidate pipelines
