Job Title: Collections Specialist
Location: Mesa, AZ (In-Office to Start, Remote Eligible After Training)
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Pay: $20/hour + Commission
Overview:
We’re seeking a money-motivated Collections Specialist to join a small, fast-paced team. This role focuses on outbound calls to tenants with past-due balances related to apartment units and properties. Ideal candidates are driven, professional, and able to work independently without constant oversight.
Key Responsibilities:

Make outbound collection calls to tenants with delinquent accounts

Negotiate and collect payments on outstanding balances

Document all communications and payment agreements

Handle upset or difficult conversations with professionalism

Meet individual and team performance goals
Qualifications:

6 months to 2 years of debt collections experience preferred (flexible for the right person)

Strong communication and negotiation skills

Self-starter with excellent time management

Comfortable working in a small office environment

Must be reliable and able to work independently
