Job Title: Electronic Soldering Technician
Job Type: Full Time
Reports To: Production Manager / Engineering Lead
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM (Overtime Available)

Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Electronic Soldering Technician to join our production team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in PCB (Printed Circuit Board) assembly, through-hole and surface-mount (SMT) soldering, and working with electronic components in a manufacturing or prototyping environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform precise hand soldering of electronic components onto PCBs, including SMT and through-hole components.

  • Read and interpret assembly drawings, schematics, and work instructions.

  • Inspect solder joints and assemblies for quality assurance using magnification and/or microscopes.

  • Operate basic PCB assembly equipment (e.g., reflow oven, pick-and-place, wave soldering).

  • Assist in board rework and repair tasks, including desoldering and component replacement.

  • Maintain a clean and organized workstation, adhering to ESD safety and company protocols.

  • Collaborate with engineers and production staff to identify and resolve assembly issues.

  • Perform quality checks and testing as needed to ensure proper functionality of assembled boards.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in electronic soldering and PCB assembly (1–3+ years preferred).

  • Proficiency with soldering irons, tweezers, microscopes, and other assembly tools.

  • Strong understanding of IPC standards (IPC-A-610 certification is a plus).

  • Ability to follow technical instructions and detailed drawings accurately.

  • Excellent manual dexterity and attention to detail.

  • Familiarity with ESD-safe practices and cleanroom environments is desirable.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with prototype builds or small-batch production.

  • Knowledge of reflow profiles and basic SMT equipment.

  • Familiarity with testing equipment such as multimeters and oscilloscopes.
