Job Title: Quality Technician
Location: Mesa, Arizona Job Type: Full-time Salary: 18 - 20 USD per hour
Job Description: We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting both returns data entry and inspecting returned warranty units, identifying the root cause of failures, and ensuring accurate data entry for each unit. As a Warranty Technician, you will play a critical role in maintaining our high-quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
· Work flexibly with the warranty analysis and returns administrator team members to ensure customer returns and labor claims are processed in a consistent timely manner
· Inspect warranty units and identify the root cause of failures including using common mechanical tools to dismantle automotive parts for individual inspection
· Complete warranty analysis root cause including filling out claims paperwork and writing summary letter to customers
· Perform accurate data entry, including serial numbers, manufacturer details, and receipt dates into Quality Management System
· Assist in daily quality process audits in the production areas
· Other tasks as assigned by leadership team
Requirements:
· High school diploma or higher
· Minimum of 1 year of experience in quality control or a related field
· Basic computer skills are required using Microsoft Programs including Word and Excel
· Strong attention to detail and accuracy is crucial for this role
· Ability to work independently and or as part of a team
· Ability to understand technical drawings and use precision measurement tools when needed
· Experience using tools, hand tools and light power tools for assembly or disassembly
· Automotive manufacturing or repair experience is preferred
