Job Title: Local Delivery Driver - NON CDL (Solar Company)
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Pay: $25.50/hour
Company Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Delivery Driver to join our team and help ensure timely and accurate delivery of materials and equipment to various job sites.
Job Summary:
The Delivery Driver will be responsible for transporting solar panels, materials, and equipment using a 26 ft stake body truck with a lift gate. This role requires someone who can safely operate the vehicle, load/unload materials, and ensure timely deliveries while maintaining excellent communication with our team.
Key Responsibilities:

Safely operate a 26 ft stake body truck with lift gate

Load and unload materials at warehouse and job site locations

Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections

Ensure all deliveries are accurate, secure, and timely

Follow all DOT regulations and company safety policies

Maintain delivery logs and basic documentation

Communicate effectively with dispatch and site crews regarding ETA and any issues

Maintain cleanliness and general upkeep of the vehicle
Requirements:

Valid driver’s license with clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)

Must pass a criminal background check, drug screen, and MVR check
-
Experience driving 26 ft stake body trucks

Experience using lift gates and securing loads properly

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical work as needed

Strong time management and customer service skills

Punctual, dependable, and detail-oriented
Preferred Qualifications:

Knowledge of basic warehouse operations or construction sites

Forklift certification (a plus, not required)
