Maintenance Technician - 3rd Shift
Express Employment Professionals is now hiring a Maintenance Technician for a manufacturing facility. This is a direct opportunity for an experienced industrial maintenance professional who enjoys troubleshooting equipment, completing repairs, and helping keep production running efficiently.
Schedule
- 3rd Shift: Monday-Friday, 10:00 PM to 6:30 AM
- Training: Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM
Pay
- Competitive pay based on experience
Job Duties
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial equipment
- Perform mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic repairs
- Conduct preventive maintenance to minimize downtime
- Install, modify, and repair production equipment
- Operate maintenance shop equipment including welders, grinders, drill presses, and saws
- Use hand and power tools to complete repairs and modifications
- Troubleshoot PLC-related equipment issues
- Operate forklifts and aerial/scissor lifts as needed
- Maintain maintenance logs, work orders, and repair documentation
- Assist with spare parts inventory and ordering
- Follow all safety and environmental guidelines
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Qualifications
- Technical school training or equivalent hands-on experience
- Minimum 5 years of industrial maintenance experience
- Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- PLC troubleshooting experience preferred
- Welding and fabrication experience is a plus
- Forklift and lift equipment experience preferred
- Microsoft Office proficiency (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- SAP experience is a plus
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, and time management skills
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 55 lbs regularly
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb, crouch, and kneel throughout the shift
- Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with heat, dust, noise, and moving machinery
