Job Title: Advanced Processing Operator

Job Overview:
We are seeking a self-motivated and team-oriented Advanced Processing Operator to join our Press team in Tolleson, AZ. This role is critical to maintaining press area sanitation, assisting with processing operations, and supporting maintenance as needed. Ideal candidates will have strong mechanical aptitude, take pride in their work, and be eager to grow into more advanced processing roles.
Key Responsibilities:

Assist with die changes, washing, and repair

Support mechanical and electrical troubleshooting and repairs
-
Load powder ingredients into Vacu-mix; clean and repair equipment
-
Clean and maintain bow tie machines, including preventive maintenance

Operate RS view modules for presses, dryers, and bulk-handling systems

Conduct daily QA testing and document results

Maintain a clean, hazard-free work environment in compliance with GMP standards

Perform full sanitation of press area, including:

Dusting overheads (pipes, conduit, hoppers)

Vacuuming dryers, panels, platforms, and catwalks
-
Cleaning/mopping die room, control room, under mixers, and floors

Assisting with mixer and dryer sanitation
Qualifications & Requirements:
-
Minimum 2 years of experience in a mechanical, technical, or food manufacturing role

Strong communication and basic math skills
-
Basic mechanical aptitude; technical training a plus

Ability to interpret equipment manuals and drawings
-
Understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and HACCP
-
Solid problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
-
Ability to routinely lift 50 lbs unassisted
-
Comfortable working at high elevations and in hot environments (90°F+)

Must be able to stoop, kneel, climb, and stand for long periods
-
Must have color vision acuity and depth perception
-
Must be able to vocally communicate in noisy conditions
-
High School Diploma or GED preferred
