Express is looking for an Accounting Professional for a company in Van Buren, AR.
Pay starts at 18.00/hr. M-F, 8 A - 5 PM.
Position Overview
The ART Accounting position is responsible for managing accounting communications, processing billing and settlements, posting wires and journal entries, and ensuring all driver and load documentation is accurate, complete, and properly entered in McLeod.
Key Responsibilities Include
- Monitoring the ART Accounting email inbox and phone line
- Uploading driver paperwork and revised rate confirmations into McLeod
- Responding to POD requests, factoring inquiries, and driver settlement questions
- Managing and uploading driver documents through Samsara
- Serving as the main point of contact in the ART Billing Team group chat
- Posting, auditing, adjusting, and voiding wires as needed
- Processing detention and layover requests and following up with customers
- Completing daily billing before noon, including auditing BOLs, rates, and customer information
- Communicating with factoring companies and operations to resolve billing issues
- Posting journal entries for daily factoring proceeds
- Processing 1099 driver settlements and final owner-operator payouts
- Managing ProLease truck payments and related deductions
- Collecting, organizing, and auditing original load paperwork
- Ensuring customers are properly set up in McLeod with correct billing and contract information
- Entering shop and toll invoices into McLeod as needed
- Plus other duties as assigned.
