We're Looking for a Shop Expeditor Assistant!
Pay: $18.00/hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM
We are looking for a Shop Expeditor Assistant to support the Expeditor Foreman with material receiving, documentation, inventory management, and shop coordination. This position plays a key role in ensuring materials are accurately received, tracked, staged, and prepared for fabrication.
Responsibilities:
- Receive and track incoming materials
- Review purchase orders against deliveries
- Scan packing slips and maintain accurate records
- Prepare bag-and-tag cut lists
- Assist with inventory, storage, staging, and shipping
- Support shop safety and daily operations
Qualifications:
- Strong computer and data-entry skills
- Experience in material receiving, inventory, shipping, warehouse, or fabrication shop operations
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office, inventory/barcode systems, Stratus, or Field Materials preferred
- Knowledge of pipe, fittings, supports, rods, and dunnage is a plus
- Strong organization, attention to detail, and communication skills
- Safety-minded with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced shop environment
