Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Skilled Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our team, servicing local schools. The ideal candidate will have at 3-5 years of experience in maintaining and repairing various systems, including electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and gas-fired equipment. This role requires a valid driver's license, a clean background, and the ability to work efficiently in an educational setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Knowledge of basic techniques of repair and new installation of assigned areas (carpentry, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, drywall, painting, ect.)
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in facilities maintenance, with specific skills in electrical, HVAC, plumbing, carpentry drywall, painting.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints and repair manuals.
- Proficiency in using a variety of tools and equipment.
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Physical capability to perform job duties, including lifting, climbing, and working in confined spaces.
