Location: Texarkana, AR
Salary: $15 - $18 per hour, dependent on experience (DOE)
Work Hours: Monday - Friday 5am - 2pm

Job Overview:
We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Rewinder Operator to join our Finishing Department at our labeling company in Texarkana, AR. This role is crucial for ensuring the quality and accuracy of final label products before they reach our clients. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work. Key Responsibilities:
- Label Inspection: Carefully inspect label rolls for defects or quality issues, ensuring all products meet our strict quality standards.
- Machine Operation: Operate rewinding machinery to re-roll labels into finished rolls, adjusting settings as necessary to meet specifications.
- Quality Control: Perform regular checks during the rewinding process to ensure labels are free from defects and alignment issues.
- Troubleshooting: Identify and troubleshoot issues with the rewinding equipment, making minor adjustments or notifying maintenance personnel when significant repairs are needed.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of production quantities, batch numbers, and inspection results.
- Material Handling: Manage materials to minimize waste and ensure efficient use of resources.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all workplace safety guidelines and procedures to maintain a safe and clean work environment.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with other team members and departments to ensure seamless production processes and meet deadlines.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Previous experience in a finishing department or similar production environment preferred. Experience with rewinding or label inspection is a plus.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Mechanical Skills: Basic mechanical skills to operate machinery and perform minor adjustments and maintenance.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to quickly identify and resolve issues with machinery or product quality.
- Physical Requirements: Capable of standing for extended periods and lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Communication Skills: Good verbal and written communication abilities.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent is required.
