Position: Account Manager (insurance)
Location: Texarkana, TX
Hours: Full time, M-F, 8a-5p
Pay: $18-25/hour, doe and if licensed
We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Account Manager with experience in property and casualty insurance. This role is responsible for managing client relationships, supporting policy servicing, and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. Candidates do not need to hold an active insurance license at the time of hire but should have prior industry experience and a willingness to obtain licensure if required.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

*Follows company guidelines as established in the Commercial Lines Procedure Manual.
* Provides commercial lines support in obtaining, maintaining, developing and servicing client accounts by working with Producer to ensure retention of existing accounts and changes to existing accounts.
*Performs and monitors the necessary functions to process both new and renewal through to completion including authorizing coverages and changes within authority granted by carriers.
*Provides proactive day-to-day direct client service by anticipating client needs and addressing emails and telephone calls promptly and in timely manner.
*Reviews, obtains missing information, and completes applications and quotes for new business.
*Markets and rates submissions and prepare summaries and proposals verifying accuracy.
*Reviews current client coverage and recommends changes in coverage to insured and/or Producer. Checks account for gaps in coverage and make recommendations.
*Efficiently manage the marketing and renewal process in alignment with agency workflows.
*Works up renewal lists and sets up suspense dates in agency system for follow-up.
*Negotiates coverage terms, conditions and pricing with carrier underwriters.
*Order and issue binders, certificates, policies, endorsements, and related items verifying their accuracy and forwarding to clients with appropriate correspondence.
*Obtains Premium Finance information and assists with any agreements.
*Works in AMS360 and ImageRight following agency workflows and guidelines as to required input and documentation.
*Report all claims to the carrier and may assist the insured with the claims process and follow up until the claim is resolved.
*Shares responsibility with the producer to see that all risks are bound.
*Attend Commercial Lines meetings, trainings and classes as requested by management or required for maintaining the appropriate state licensing and designations.
