Job Description
We are hiring a Shear Operator / Skilled Laborer for a manufacturing facility in Hope, AR. This role is responsible for operating a shear machine, performing precision measurements, handling angle beams, and supporting general skilled labor tasks in a fast-paced production environment.
This is a hands-on position ideal for someone with mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and experience working with metal or industrial equipment.
Responsibilities

Operate shear machine to cut metal materials to specification

Accurately measure materials using tape measures and precision tools

Stack and organize 20’ beams and finished product

Perform skilled labor duties throughout the shop as needed

Maintain a clean and safe work area

Follow all safety procedures and production guidelines

Assist with material handling and staging
Qualifications

Previous manufacturing, metal, or skilled labor experience preferred

Ability to read a tape measure and perform precision measurements

Comfortable lifting and stacking heavy materials

Strong work ethic with dependable attendance
