Title: Lead Maintenance Technician
Pay: $60,000/year
Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm (On-Call Required)
Location: Texarkana, TX
Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Lead Maintenance Technician for a hotel property in Texarkana, TX. This role is responsible for overseeing all maintenance operations, ensuring the property remains safe, functional, and guest-ready at all times. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership ability along with hands-on expertise in HVAC and electrical systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily maintenance operations for the hotel property
- Perform and coordinate repairs on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general building systems
- Ensure all preventative maintenance programs are followed and documented
- Troubleshoot and repair equipment and facility issues promptly
- Maintain pool systems in compliance with regulations (CPO required)
- Respond to on-call maintenance emergencies as needed
- Supervise and support maintenance staff or vendors when applicable
- Conduct regular property inspections to identify and resolve issues proactively
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, OSHA regulations, and company policies
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs, work orders, and inventory of supplies
Qualifications:
- Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certification required
- Strong background in HVAC systems and electrical work
- Previous maintenance experience in a hotel, apartment, or commercial facility preferred
- Leadership or supervisory experience strongly preferred
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair a wide range of building systems
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to be on-call and respond to after-hours emergencies
- Valid driver’s license required
