Job Description:
We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Construction Manager to join our team in Texarkana, TX. This position will oversee day-to-day construction operations, coordinate project activities, and ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and according to specifications. The ideal candidate will have a background in construction management, project management, superintendent work, QA/QC, or a related construction field.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and coordinate daily construction activities and job site operations
- Ensure projects are completed on schedule and within company standards
- Communicate with contractors, vendors, subcontractors, and internal teams
- Monitor job site safety and enforce company safety policies and procedures
- Review project plans, specifications, and work progress
- Perform quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) inspections
- Track materials, equipment, and labor needs for projects
- Assist with scheduling crews and coordinating workflow
- Troubleshoot issues that arise on job sites and provide solutions
- Maintain accurate project documentation and reports
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and company regulations
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in construction management, project management, superintendent work, QA/QC, or related construction roles preferred
- Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and safety practices
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction documents
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Proficient with computers and construction-related software is a plus
- Valid driver’s license required
