Hours: Full time, M-F. Some overtime required
Pay: $18/hour

We are seeking a dedicated and organized Dispatcher to join our trucking company. The ideal candidate will have strong communication and organizational skills, as well as a proactive approach to problem-solving. This position is essential to ensuring the smooth coordination of our trucking fleet, drivers, and deliveries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Schedule and dispatch trucks and drivers to appropriate locations according to customer requests, specifications, and needs.
- Monitor the status and locations of the fleet to ensure timely deliveries and resolve issues that may arise during transport.
- Maintain regular communication with drivers to relay instructions and address any concerns or delays.
- Enter data related to shipments, routes, and driver information into the company's system.
- Keep detailed records of driver logs, transportation activities, and equipment used as needed.
- Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly and effectively to inquiries, concerns, or updates from customers.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and transportation laws.
Qualifications:
- Good typing and computer skills are a must to accurately enter data, manage schedules, and communicate with drivers and customers.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with drivers, customers, and team members.
- Ability to work under pressure and troubleshoot logistical challenges.
- Previous experience in dispatching or logistics is a plus, but not required.
