Building Maintenance Technician
Pay: $18.00/hour
Hours: Monday - Friday | 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Location: Hope, AR
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dependable Building Maintenance Technician to join our team in Hope, AR. This position is responsible for performing a variety of maintenance and repair tasks to ensure company properties and facilities remain safe, functional, and well-maintained. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, have a broad maintenance skill set, and possess their own basic hand tools.
Responsibilities:
- Perform general building maintenance and repairs
- Conduct lawn care and grounds maintenance as needed
- Apply pest control treatments and monitor for pest issues
- Repair and maintain appliances
- Perform minor plumbing repairs and installations
- Perform minor electrical repairs and troubleshooting
- Repair sheetrock, patch holes, and complete finishing work
- Prepare surfaces and complete painting projects
- Conduct preventative maintenance inspections
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner
- Operate a company vehicle to travel between job sites and properties
Qualifications:
- Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
- Ability to operate a company vehicle safely
- Previous maintenance experience preferred
- Knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general repair techniques
- Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively
- Must provide own basic tools
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials and equipment as needed
