Job Full Description
Express Employment Professionals is accepting for an experienced Class A Over-the-Road (OTR) Driver based in the Chula Vista area. This position involves long-haul deliveries across California and neighboring states, ensuring timely and safe transportation of freight while maintaining a high standard of professionalism and safety.
Responsibilities:

Operate a Class A commercial vehicle for long-distance deliveries

Safely load and secure freight according to DOT regulations

Plan routes efficiently to ensure on-time deliveries

Inspect vehicle before and after each trip; perform basic preventative maintenance
-
Maintain accurate trip logs, delivery paperwork, and compliance records
-
Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery updates
Qualifications:

Valid Class A CDL (minimum 2–3 years of OTR driving experience preferred)

Valid DOT Medical Card
-
Clean driving record
-
Ability to work independently and follow dispatch instructions

Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred

Must be able to pass a drug test and background check
