Production Operator
American Canyon, CA
$21.00 - $22.00 an hour Depending on Shift
Monday - Friday 6:00am-2:30pm or 10:00pm-6:00am
We have a great company in American Canyon on the hunt for a talented and experienced Production Operator to join their wonderful team! Our best candidate will have great attention to detail, the ability to multi-task, and attain an outstanding work ethic.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensuring the safe and efficient operation of packaging equipment as well as the accuracy and quality of the product delivered
- Perform machine set-ups
- Follow up and comply with daily production schedule; anticipate changes or necessary deviations
- Ensure machines are in good condition and maintain clean work area
- Enter daily information in SAP and double check all information for accuracy
- Follow all department and line procedures, such as GMPs, date codes, efficiencies, error rates, product specifications, etc.
- Complete all required production reports and checklists accurately and timely
- Ensure product is packed and labeled in accordance with customer and company specifications
- Instruct and oversee activities of palletizer
- Notify supervisor and/or maintenance department if unsure or unable to trouble-shoot machinery or settings
