Job Full Description
Napa company looking for help through harvest. This position will support daily cellar operations and play an integral role in maintaining our high standards of quality and cleanliness throughout the winemaking process. This position requires a strong work ethic and attention to detail. Will assist with both cellar operations and equipment sanitation.
Key Responsibilities:
-Assist with grape receiving and processing during harvest.
-Sanitize winery equipment and facilities following standard operating procedures.
-Participate in barrel work: filling, topping, stirring, and general maintenance.
-Perform fermentation tasks including pump overs, punch downs, and pulse air.
-Maintain a clean, organized, and safe cellar and warehouse environment.
-Ensure quality control is upheld at every stage of production.
-Support the winemaking team with additional cellar tasks as needed.
Qualifications & Requirements:
-Must be at least 21 years old.
-Available to work extended hours, including weekends.
-Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
-Must be proficient in taking directions in English, along with reading, writing and speaking English
-Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently.
-Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform strenuous tasks for extended periods.
-Comfortable working at heights (e.g., on scissor lifts or ladders) and closed and/or tight spaces
-Willing to work hard in wet, dirty conditions while upholding strict cleanliness standards.
-Knowledge of general cellar equipment and basic maintenance is preferred.
-Committed to following all safety procedures.
Pay is $22-$25/hr. DOE
Tuesday - Saturday - 6-8 hours - OT may be required
