Industrial Sewer
About the Role:
We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Industrial Sewer to join our client in Fairfield. This position involves operating industrial sewing machines to produce, repair, and assemble heavy-duty fabric products used in industrial applications. If you have experience with industrial sewing and enjoy hands-on work, this is a great opportunity to join a stable company with growth potential.
Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain industrial sewing machines.
- Sew, assembly, and repair products such as tarps, covers, straps, and other heavy-duty fabric items.
- Measure, cut, and prepare materials according to specifications.
- Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy.
- Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshoot minor issues.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience with industrial sewing machines preferred.
- Ability to work with heavy fabrics and materials.
- Strong attention to detail and quality standards.
- Ability to read and follow measurements and instructions.
- Physical ability to lift and handle large pieces of material.
