Forklift / Heavy Equipment Mechanic

Pay Range: $30–$45/hr
Level: Mid–Senior

Role Summary

Seeking an experienced Forklift/Heavy Equipment Mechanic with strong hands-on diagnostic and repair skills across electric, propane, gas, and diesel equipment. This role requires a technician who can work independently, prioritize safety, and perform full-scope troubleshooting and repairs.

Key Requirements

• Recent, hands-on experience in a similar mechanic role
• Proven background as a forklift or heavy equipment mechanic
• Ability to independently diagnose and repair electric, propane, gas, and diesel forklifts
• Strong mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic troubleshooting ability
• Experience performing safety inspections and following OSHA-compliant practices
• Strict adherence to LOTO and safe repair procedures
• Ability to interpret service manuals, schematics, and diagrams
• Capable of maintaining accurate repair and service records
• Stable work history with no major unexplained gaps
• Must meet physical requirements of the role
• Ability to walk between buildings or work areas as needed

Preferred Experience

• Hands-on experience with Toyota and/or Komatsu forklifts
• Previous work in manufacturing or warehouse environments
