Job Full Description
Seeking an experienced Sit-Down Forklift Operator that moves, loads, unloads, and organizes materials throughout the facility using a counterbalanced forklift. This role supports warehouse operations by ensuring products are handled safely, efficiently, and accurately.
Key Responsibilities
• Operate a sit-down counterbalance forklift to move pallets and materials
• Load and unload trailers while preventing product damage
• Transport materials to storage locations, production lines, or staging areas
• Complete daily equipment inspections and report mechanical issues
• Use scanners or paperwork to track inventory movement
• Maintain clean, organized aisles and storage zones
• Follow all safety procedures, speed limits, and warehouse traffic rules
• Assist with general warehouse tasks as needed
Qualifications
• Minimum of 2 years' experience operating sit-down forklifts in a warehouse or manufacturing environment
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. when required
• Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
• Basic math and communication skills
