Job Full Description
Job Summary:
Responsible for coordinating and executing all shipping and receiving activities to support manufacturing and project operations. Ensures accurate handling of materials, timely deliveries, and proper inventory control in a fast-paced production environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials against purchase orders, invoices, and bills of lading
- Unload shipments, identify damages or shortages, and coordinate with vendors to resolve discrepancies
- Prepare outgoing shipments, including packaging, labeling, and documentation to ensure on-time delivery
- Maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing inventory
- Organize and store materials in designated warehouse or yard locations
- Coordinate shipping schedules and communicate with internal departments and carriers
- Determine cost-effective shipping methods while meeting delivery deadlines
- Perform routine inventory counts and assist with stock replenishment
- Operate forklifts and other equipment safely to move materials
- Ensure compliance with company safety policies and quality standards
