Now Hiring: Melting Operator – 1st Shift
?? Location: American Canyon, CA
?? Pay: $20.50/hour
?? Schedule: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
Position Type: Evaluation Hire | Full-Time
Availability: Must be available to work any day of the week
Are you experienced in food manufacturing and looking for a great opportunity with a growing production team? We are currently hiring a dependable and hardworking Melting Operator to support daily manufacturing operations in American Canyon.
Job Responsibilities
- Operate melting equipment while following production procedures and safety guidelines.
- Clean and maintain equipment to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
- Handle and transport bags of product and raw materials weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Monitor production processes and work toward meeting daily production goals.
- Check and maintain proper temperatures during the melting process.
- Monitor sugar levels and verify product requirements.
- Receive raw materials from warehouse areas.
- Accurately add and dump materials according to production needs.
- Follow all food safety, quality, and sanitation standards.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food manufacturing or production preferred.
- Ability to lift and move materials as needed.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Reliable attendance and willingness to work a flexible schedule.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Must provide at least two verifiable professional references.
- Must provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
