Forklift Operator (Single & Double Forklift)
We are seeking an experienced Forklift Operator (Single & Double Forklift) or the PM shift to safely transport, load, unload, and stage products throughout the warehouse. The ideal candidate has experience operating both single and double pallet forklifts in a fast-paced distribution or warehouse environment and is committed to safety, productivity, and accuracy.
Essential Responsibilities
- Safely operate single and double pallet forklifts to move products and materials throughout the facility.
- Load and unload trailers while ensuring product integrity and accuracy.
- Transport finished goods, raw materials, and packaging supplies to designated locations.
- Stage, stack, and organize inventory for shipping, receiving, and production.
- Perform daily pre-shift forklift inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns.
- Follow inventory control procedures to ensure accurate product movement.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Work collaboratively with warehouse and shipping teams to meet daily production goals.
- Follow all company safety policies, OSHA regulations, and equipment operating procedures.
- Assist with general warehouse duties as needed.
Qualifications
- Previous experience operating single and double pallet forklifts required.
- Experience in a warehouse environment preferred.
- Forklift certification preferred (or ability to become certified).
- Experience using RF scanners and warehouse management systems is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Dependable with a strong work ethic and positive attitude.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
- Ability to sit, stand, bend, reach, twist, and walk throughout the shift.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment with varying temperatures.
- Ability to safely operate powered industrial equipment for extended periods.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check.
- Reliable transportation and excellent attendance.
