Filler Operator
Position Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Filler Operator to join our production team. This position is responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining filling equipment in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. The Filler Operator plays a critical role in ensuring products are filled, packaged, and coded accurately while meeting company quality, safety, and production standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor filling, packaging, and related production equipment to ensure smooth and efficient operation.
- Set up, adjust, and troubleshoot equipment to meet production specifications and minimize downtime.
- Maintain high production output while ensuring compliance with quality and food safety standards.
- Follow all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), safety procedures, and sanitation requirements.
- Perform routine equipment inspections to ensure proper operation and product quality.
- Verify product specifications, including fill weights, package integrity, code dates, labels, and product appearance.
- Conduct required quality checks and document results accurately.
- Monitor production lines for defects and take corrective action when needed.
- Maintain proper product flow and coordinate with upstream and downstream production personnel.
- Complete required sanitation and cleaning procedures on equipment and surrounding work areas.
- Accurately record production data, downtime, waste, and quality checks.
- Assist with changeovers, startups, shutdowns, and preventive maintenance activities.
- Promptly report mechanical, quality, food safety, or safety concerns to supervisors.
- Support inventory control and proper handling of packaging materials and production supplies.
- Work collaboratively with Production, Quality Assurance, Warehouse, and Maintenance teams.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Required
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Basic math and measurement skills.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
Preferred
- Previous experience operating filling, packaging, or processing equipment in a food manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of GMPs, food safety standards, and sanitation procedures.
- Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting experience.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Frequent bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, and lifting.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to work around moving machinery and production equipment.
- Ability to work in varying temperature conditions and wear required PPE.
