M-F 5:00am-1:30pm + OT and must be flexible to start times
Delivery Driver - Fairfield, CA
Position Summary
The Delivery Driver is responsible for safely delivering tires to customers throughout the region while ensuring accurate order fulfillment, timely deliveries, and professional customer interactions. This role also includes loading and unloading tires, verifying invoices, and assisting with warehouse operations as needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to complete scheduled delivery routes
- Review route sheets and delivery manifests prior to departing
- Verify order accuracy and inspect invoices before deliveries
- Load and secure tires for safe transportation
- Deliver tires to customer locations in a timely and professional manner
- Unload tires of various sizes and quantities at delivery destinations
- Obtain customer signatures and provide delivery documentation
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and returns
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and report maintenance concerns
- Assist with warehouse duties, inventory movement, and order preparation when needed
- Follow all company safety procedures and DOT regulations
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Previous delivery driving, warehouse, or logistics experience preferred
- Ability to lift, carry, and move tires throughout the workday
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent customer service and communication abilities
- Ability to work independently and manage delivery schedules efficiently
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
