Roofing Yard & Delivery Helper
We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Roofing Yard & Delivery Helper to join our team. This position supports daily warehouse and delivery operations by loading materials, assisting with deliveries, unloading products at jobsites and warehouse locations, and maintaining a clean and organized yard.
Responsibilities:
- Load roofing materials and supplies onto delivery trucks.
- Assist with deliveries by accompanying drivers to jobsites.
- Unload materials safely at customer locations and the warehouse yard.
- Load and organize materials at the employer's facility.
- Perform general cleanup of the warehouse, yard, and work areas.
- Operate a forklift when needed (training and certification preferred).
- Follow all safety policies and procedures.
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy.
Requirements:
- Ability to lift, carry, and move heavy materials throughout the workday.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential.
- Strong work ethic and willingness to perform physically demanding work.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Forklift experience is a plus.
- Must be comfortable working outdoors in hot, cold, and varying weather conditions.
- Must wear personal steel-toe work boots at all times.
Work Environment:
- Outdoor and warehouse-based position.
- Regular exposure to heat, cold, sun, dust, and changing weather conditions.
- Continuous lifting, bending, walking, and standing throughout the shift.
Schedule:
- Standard 8-hour workday.
- Must be available and willing to work overtime as needed based on business demands.
