Warehouse Associate

Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable and motivated Warehouse Associate to join our manufacturing team. The Warehouse Associate is responsible for receiving, storing, organizing, and distributing materials and products while maintaining a safe, clean, and efficient warehouse environment.
The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials and shipments.
- Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently.
- Move materials throughout the warehouse and manufacturing facility.
- Pick, pack, stage, and prepare materials for production or shipment.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and documentation.
- Use scanners, computers, and inventory management systems as required.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, carts, and other material-handling equipment.
- Properly label, organize, and store materials in designated locations.
- Perform inventory counts and report discrepancies.
- Prepare outgoing shipments and verify shipping documentation.
- Follow all safety procedures, company policies, and quality standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Communicate effectively with production, shipping, receiving, and other departments.
- Report damaged materials, equipment issues, or safety concerns to management.
- Perform other warehouse and material-handling duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous warehouse, manufacturing, shipping, receiving, or material-handling experience preferred.
- Forklift experience or certification is a plus.
- Basic computer and inventory tracking skills.
- Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Must be dependable and able to maintain consistent attendance.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to regularly lift and move materials and packages.
- Ability to bend, stoop, reach, and climb as required.
- Ability to safely operate material-handling equipment.
- Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
Work Environment
This position is performed in a manufacturing and warehouse environment. Employees may be exposed to moving equipment, industrial noise, dust, temperature changes, and other manufacturing conditions. All employees are expected to follow established safety procedures and wear required PPE.
