Construction Maintenance Technician - Military Base Facilities
We are seeking hardworking and reliable individuals to support maintenance, repair, and make-ready projects on a military installation. This is a very fast-paced environment where priorities can change quickly, and team members must be prepared to handle a variety of tasks throughout the day.
Job Duties:
- Interior painting, patching, and touch-up work
- Basic electrical maintenance and repairs
- Plumbing repairs, including faucets, fixtures, and drains
- Inspecting and troubleshooting kitchen appliances
- Flooring installation, repair, and replacement
- Carpet cleaning and general facility maintenance
- Complete make-ready work for residential and commercial facilities
- General construction, repair, and maintenance tasks
- Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a safe and organized manner
Qualifications:
- Previous construction, maintenance, handyman, or make-ready experience preferred
- Familiarity with painting, flooring, plumbing, and basic electrical work
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical labor throughout the shift
- Dependable attendance and reliable transportation
Additional Requirements:
- Position is located on a military facility
- Must successfully pass a background check to obtain site access
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screen
- Subject to random and unannounced drug testing throughout employment
- Must comply with all site security and safety regulations
