Job Full Description
Express Employment Professionals is seeking Catering Servers for a local Catering Company. Catering servers provide excellent food and beverage service to guests during events. This role requires high attention to detail, teamwork, and a commitment to customer satisfaction, ensuring a positive and memorable experience for all attendees.
$18-$24 an hour
Schedule: Weekends- AM, Mid, and Night shift from 4 hour to 8 plus hour shift.

Key Responsibilities:

Event Setup:
- Assist in setting up tables, chairs, linens, and place settings.
- Arrange food and beverage stations according to the event plan.
- Ensure that all serving and display areas are clean and well-organized.

Guest Service:
- Serve food and beverages to guests efficiently and professionally.
- Refill drinks, clear plates, and attend to guest needs throughout the event.
- Maintain a courteous and professional demeanor with guests at all times.

Event Execution:
- Follow the direction of the catering manager and ensure the event flows smoothly.
- Assist in monitoring food and beverage levels to prevent shortages.
- Handle special requests from guests and resolve issues promptly.

Cleanup and Breakdown:
- Clear tables and remove dishes, utensils, and trash after meals.
- Break down event setup, ensuring all equipment is returned and cleaned properly.
- Assist in loading and unloading supplies and equipment before and after events.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in catering or food service (preferred).
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift/carry heavy trays or equipment.
- A team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
Schedule:
Catering servers work varied hours depending on the event schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
