🔧 Position Overview

The Maintenance Mechanic will assist with the repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting of a wide range of production machinery and facility equipment. This role supports senior maintenance technicians, making it ideal for someone who works hard, learns quickly, and wants to advance.

You’ll work hands‑on with mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems—plus partner with outside service providers for specialized equipment.

🔨 Key Responsibilities

Equipment Maintenance & Repair

• Service and repair forklifts (propane & diesel)
• Perform preventative and emergency maintenance on:
  • Production machinery & compressors
  • Mitsubishi laser cutting systems
  • Chillers
  • Press brakes
  • Hydraulic motors
  • Blast booths (steel grit systems, augers, bucket elevators)
  • Welding machines
  • Jib cranes / hoists
  • Powder‑coating ovens
  • Plate burning tables
  • Tube benders
  • Plate rollers
  • Angle rollers
  • Air compressors

Electrical Work

• Exposure to 460V three‑phase and 110V single‑phase electrical panels
• General electrical troubleshooting

General Maintenance

• Perform small tool repairs
• Keep accurate PM paperwork and maintenance logs
• Collaborate with third‑party service companies for CNC and laser machine support

🛠 Core Responsibilities

• Preventative Maintenance: inspections, lubrication, scheduled service
• Troubleshooting & Repair: mechanical and electrical diagnostics, part replacement
• Systems Expertise: hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical drives, electrical circuits
• Equipment Installation: assembly, setup, machine alignment
• Documentation: record parts used, work performed, and maintenance history

✔️ Ideal Candidate Requirements

• Minimum 3–4 years experience in industrial or mechanical maintenance
• Reliable, hardworking, and eager to learn
• Trainable — willing to grow under an experienced maintenance team
• Strong troubleshooting ability
• Able to manage multiple kinds of equipment
• Electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic experience is a major plus
• Solid work ethic and consistent attendance are a must
