Maintenance Mechanic
Pay Range: $20.00 – $24.00 per hour (DOE)
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Mechanic to support a production facility. This role requires strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills, the ability to maintain a wide range of industrial equipment, and the discipline to keep up with preventative maintenance (PM) documentation. The ideal candidate is versatile, dependable, and comfortable working alongside third-party service providers.
Key Responsibilities
Equipment Maintenance & Repair
- Service and repair forklifts (propane and diesel engines)
- Perform preventative and emergency maintenance on production machinery, equipment, and compressors
- Maintain and troubleshoot:
- Mitsubishi laser cutting machines
- Chillers
- Press brakes
- Hydraulic motors
- Blast booths (steel grit, augers, bucket elevators)
- Welding machines
- Jib cranes / hoists
- Powder-coating ovens
- Plate burning tables
- Tube benders
- Plate rollers
- Angle rollers
- Compressors
Electrical Work
- Experience with 460V three-phase electrical panels
- Experience with 110V single-phase electrical panels
- General electrical troubleshooting and repairs
General Maintenance
- Perform small tool repairs
- Maintain accurate and timely PM paperwork
- Assist and coordinate with third-party service companies for CNC and laser equipment servicing
Core Responsibilities
- Preventative Maintenance: Conduct routine inspections, cleaning, lubrication, and scheduled servicing
- Troubleshooting & Repair: Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues, use diagnostic tools, disassemble machinery, and replace faulty parts
- System Expertise: Work with mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems
- Equipment Installation: Install, assemble, and set up industrial machinery
- Documentation: Record all maintenance activities, repairs, and parts used

- Prior experience in industrial or mechanical maintenance
- Ability to handle a wide range of equipment and systems
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to maintain accurate PM logs and documentation
- Work collaboratively with outside service vendors
