Full Time - Temp to Hire
Two shifts available:
- Day Shift – Monday thru Friday – 8am to 5pm
- Night Shift - Sunday thru Thursday - 6pm to 3am
$18 to $20hr depending on experience.
Busy Chemical supply company in Arleta is looking for Stand up Forklift/Warehouse workers to join their team.
Summary: You will be responsible for ensuring all required objectives are met daily and on a professional level and ensure all warehouse tasks are well organized and completed in a timely manner as determined by management.
Responsibilities:
- We are in the business of NOT telling the customer no, we need employees to think creatively and outside of the box to accommodate client requests and always be professional under any circumstance(s).
- Execute in the receipt and delivery of all incoming/outgoing shipments daily.
- Execute in the distribution and put away of all inventory to their proper warehouse locations daily.
- Execute in cycle counting according to MCCI standards in terms of frequency and quantity.
- Execute in the resolution of inventory discrepancies, investigate & correct deviations.
- Execute in quarantine, returns and waste management areas and work towards resolving outstanding issues.
- Report warehouse facility safety issues and the organization of material issues immediately.
- Operates heavy equipment (Forklift; reach and sit down, pumps, hoses, valves, scales, etc.) safely.
- Ensure efficient, accurate, and high-quality department operations.
- Documenting, verifying, and maintaining shipping & receiving logs and other records daily.
- Communicate openly with upper management.
- Observes safety requirements set forth by company.
- Adhere to all S.O.P.s, Work Instructions, and Daily Check lists.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Previous warehouse experience.
- Stand up and sit-down forklift. (Willing to train the right person)
- Knowledge of shipping and receiving basics.
- Ability to use scan gun for inventory, picking and receiving.
- Ability to lift up to 45lbs.
- Previous HazMat experience is a huge plus.
