Supply Chain Coordinator
Burbank, CA
Full time Temp to hire
Monday thru Friday – 8am to 5pm

$18 to $25hr depending on experience

Busy manufacturing company and leading supplier of standard and custom hinges to the aerospace industry, specializing in a proprietary drilling technique to manufacture complex, close tolerance long hinge lengths at very tight tolerances across a variety of materials including titanium, aluminum, stainless steel and bronze is looking for a Supply Chain Coordinator to join their team in Burbank.

 

Summary: This position is responsible for creating purchase orders in a timely manner, maintaining strong vendor relationships, and to ensuring integrity of company’s purchasing records.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Print Job Orders.
  • Put together job order packets.
  • File Blueprints.
  • Deliver packs to the floor.
  • Job order closing.
  • Ensure outside purchase orders are created in a timely matter.
  • Verify PO prices match what was quoted to the customer.
  • Follow up with vendors to ensure outside processing is completed by contract due date.
  • Receive all OP orders as the product is returned to ensure the system is updated daily.
  • Work with Business Process Improvement Manager to source new approved outside process vendors to reduce cost and lead times.
  • Dispatch driver – maintain daily drop-offs and pick-up list.
  • Interact with various departments’ personnel regarding discrepant pricing or quantities.
  • Reconcile and research purchasing discrepancies, and follow-up accordingly on open items.
  • Maintain files and documentation thoroughly and accurately, in accordance with company policy
  • Contribute to month end reporting procedures.
  • Perform ad hoc analysis as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Strong reasoning skills and the ability to learn quickly.
  • Basic to Intermediate Microsoft Office skills.
  • ERP software experience a plus.
