Test Tech

Sun Valley, CA

Full time – Temp to hire

Monday thru Friday – 7am to 4:30pm

$24 to $29hr depending on experience.

 

Technology manufacturer in Sun Valley specializing in the design, production, and support of biomedical tools like vital signs monitors and patient simulators, is looking for Text Techs to join their team.

 

Summary: Seeking individuals to perform internal and external technical support along with programming, testing, calibrating, troubleshooting, diagnosing and repairing products and any associated required documentation.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Calibrate products according to established procedures.
  • Accurately verify calibration results are within specified parameters and document conforming product data.
  • When non-conformities are identified, halt calibration; tag and isolate non-conforming device.
  • Verify the accuracy of calibration certificates.
  • Identify departures from the management system or from procedures for performing calibrations. 
  • Initiate improvement of the management system and prevention of deviations of the management system. 
  • Express opinions and interpretations on RMA reports.
  • Generate accurate calibration reports and paperwork for the maintenance of Device History Files.
  • Complete job sheet weekly build documentation as requested.
  • Troubleshoot non-conforming products and resolve minor issues.
  • Troubleshoot non-conforming products and employ appropriate problem-solving techniques.
  • Communicate with management and engineering on product performance and functionality issues.
  • Help implement new processes/equipment as needed.
  • Provide assistance, advice and feedback on corrective actions.

 

Qualifications:

  • The ability to resolve minor issues, typically based off historical analysis or known trends, requires basic understanding of electronics.
  • Familiarity with various laboratory measurement equipment.  (helpful, but not required: pressure meters, oscilloscopes, digital multimeters, titrators and scales). 
  • Basic knowledge of machines and tools.
  • The ability to accurately record and interpret test data.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Time management and planning skills to meet production/service schedules.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
