Stand Up Forklift Operator
Glendale, CA
Full time – Temp to hire
Monday through Friday – 6am to 4pm
$23hr to $25hr depending on experience.
Industry leader in premium solar, battery storage and roofing solutions for residential and commercial customers in California, Nevada, Florida, and Arizona is seeking a Stand-Up Forklift Operator to join their team in Glendale.
Summary: Seeking a dedicated and highly organized individual to assist in the performance of warehouse duties, including shipping and receiving, inventory management, in-house quality control and order fulfillment. This is a full-time position. Candidate must be willing to work one Saturday shift per month.
Responsibilities:
- Keep warehouse and shipping/receiving area clean and organized.
- Assemble, prepare, and box orders for shipment.
- Prepare shipments by securing pieces on pallets.
- Accept deliveries, verifying appropriate goods are received.
- Conduct regular shipment deliveries as needed.
- Manage warehouse stock and take part in monthly and yearly inventory counts.
- Verify goods meet quality standards.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Must be physically fit and able to do heavy work.
- Forklift certified.
- Must have a valid Class C driver License and a clean driving record (5 yr. minimum).
- OSHA 10 certification.
- Must be able to speak and read English well.
- Must be highly organized.
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience in shipping, receiving, and warehouse work.
- Ability to handle physical workload (lifting up to 50lbs unassisted).
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize.
