Production Lead
Sun Valley, CA
Full time – Temp to hire
Monday thru Friday – 6:30am to 3pm
$20hr to 26hr to start.
A fast-paced manufacturer and supplier of premium natural dog treats seeking an experienced Production Lead to join team in Sun Valley. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic production environment, has strong leadership skills, and is passionate about maintaining quality and efficiency.
Summary: Seeking a hands-on leader who can inspire teams, improve processes, and deliver results. Balancing people, process, and performance to keep operations running smoothly and efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee daily production floor activities to ensure workflow efficiency and on-time order fulfillment.
- Supervise production staff, providing direction, coaching, and support to meet performance goals.
- Conduct training for new and existing employees to maintain high-quality production standards.
- Perform time studies and analyze production data to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Monitor quality control, food safety, and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Implement process improvements to increase productivity and reduce waste.
- Collaborate with supervisors and management to align production goals with company objectives.
Qualifications:
- Supervisory experience in a manufacturing or production environment (required).
- Food production experience with knowledge of safety and quality regulations.
- Bilingual in Spanish – preferred.
- Proven ability to train and mentor employees.
- Experience conducting time studies and driving process improvements.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
