Heavy Equipment Operator – Underground Construction
Pay: DOE
Schedule: Full-time | Monday–Friday
We are hiring a Heavy Equipment Operator with underground utility experience. Must be proficient in operating excavators, loaders, backhoes, and other construction equipment related to wet utilities.
Responsibilities:
- Operate heavy machinery for trenching, grading, and utility installation
- Assist with layout and ensure accurate excavation
- Inspect and maintain equipment daily
- Work closely with crew to support safe and efficient job completion
Requirements:
- 2+ years’ experience operating heavy equipment in underground settings
- Familiarity with sewer, water, and storm drain installation
- Ability to follow site plans and work under supervision
- Strong safety awareness and teamwork mindset
- CDL or certifications a plus
