Job Type: Full-time
Starting Pay: $18.00 per hour
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dependable Driver to join our team immediately! This position involves loading and unloading as well as making local deliveries in a box truck. If you’re ready to take on this role and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and ensure all equipment is safe and compliant with regulations.
- Load and unload materials
- Effectively communicate with the team regarding schedules, route planning, and any operational challenges.
- Make local deliveries
Requirements:
- Proficiency in reading and writing English; bilingual skills are a plus.
- Strong communication skills to ensure effective coordination with the team.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while staying detail-oriented.
- A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Previous experience in route driving is preferred.
- Physical ability to lift 50+ lbs, climb ladders, and maintain physical activity such as bending and stooping for extended periods of time.
